The day of the session
This is where the magic happens. Leave all worries and expectations at the door and just enjoy yourself.
The viewing appointment
Held at my home studio in Barleythorpe, Rutland, this is where the much-anticipated image reveal happens. You choose your favorites and then I will walk you through all of your different frame options as you decide how you would most like to display your images, often through a combination of wall art and digital files.

Session fee £295
I have worked to put together a session fee for you that not only works as a wonderful gift to yourself but will also work as a gift for a loved one. All of my sessions can be purchased as gift vouchers, beautifully presented in a luxury gift box.
What is included in my session fee
- 16 inch framed print of your choice from my beautiful collection (ex Fine Art/Acrylic)
- A session of up to 60 minutes
- A variety of differently colored backdrops to choose from
- All dogs from within the same household (only 2 large dogs at a time)
- Viewing and ordering showcase in my studio in Barleythorpe
My dog won’t sit still
I have photographed the bounciest dogs you have ever seen in my studio. Luckily we only need them to sit still for a moment or two and I have a whole arsenal of noisemakers from squeaks to duck calls to keep their attention.
Before the session begins I will always allow time for the dogs to sniff around the studio and for them to get used to me. I will also have a variety of treats in the studio so unless your dog is on a special diet there is no need to bring your own.
If we are really struggling we can always resort to clipping them on their lead briefly and I can edit that out in post-production but I have only ever had to do this once and that was because we had three bouncy labs in the studio all at the same time.
What happens during the session?
Your dog’s photoshoot will take place in my home studio in Barleythorpe. The studio is on the top floor so please be sure to inform me if your dog is unable to walk upstairs as we will need to make special arrangements for the session.
When in the studio we will give your dog time to sniff around and get used to the environment before we start. I will show them all of the camera equipment and we will check that they are ok with the flash in a controlled manner.
Next, it is time to choose your backdrop colors, usually, we can get at least two in a studio session but if your dog is particularly happy having their photo taken we can sometimes increase this to 3-4. I have a wide range of options to choose from so there is something for everyone.
Wall art is the finishing touch in any home. Why settle for yawn-worthy prints from the internet when you could adorn your walls with your favorite four-legged family member.
Choose from a variety of contemporary, rustic, or traditional wall art options. Whether you decide on one single, breathtaking piece or a multi-image wall gallery, it’s sure to make a statement.
Limited on space? You can also opt for an image box that will showcase your beloved images for decades to come.
Digital files are also an option, of course, but I recommend them as a complement to tangible artwork you can enjoy every day, no scrolling required or trying to remember where you saved them.
Prices start from £145 for a beautiful framed print.
